Offering therapy in California!
You may look like you are managing everything, while internally feeling anxious, depleted, self-critical, or disconnected from yourself. Therapy can help you feel more grounded, have more clarity, and be better able to move through life with confidence and steadiness.
I work with adults across California who are navigating anxiety, burnout, procrastination, relationship stress, life transitions, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together on the outside while struggling internally.
I work with young adults and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or are far harder on themselves than they are on anyone else. Many are navigating anxiety, burnout, procrastination, difficulty with organization and task initiation, relationship stress, or life transitions. Some are also carrying the weight of cultural expectations, intergenerational dynamics, or the pressure to keep functioning while privately struggling.

Relationship stress, grief and loss, and trauma-related distress
I'm Dr. Anushree Belur (she/her; pronounced: Uh-nu-shri Bay-lur), a licensed clinical psychologist. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative, with compassionate care tailored to your needs. I offer therapy that creates space for insight, practical support, and meaningful change. As a first-generation South Asian American immigrant, I bring a culturally responsive lens to this work and especially value supporting clients who are navigating multicultural identities, family expectations, and intergenerational experiences. In addition to my private practice, I work at the University of California, Irvine's Counseling Center as a psychologist and the Goals in Action program coordinator. I have also taught graduate-level psychology courses at other graduate schools.
Contact me to set up a 15-min consult to see if we'll be a good fit.
I also consult, present, and conduct workshops for organizations looking to integrate more mental health education and prevention services.
I offer individual virtual therapy for adults across California to allow for flexibility with busy schedules. Sessions are usually 45-50 minutes and typically held weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs and goals. The fee is $225 per session, with a limited number of reduced-fee appointments available, starting at $150. I am not in-network with insurance, but I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement, along with a Good Faith Estimate as required by law. Read more about the No Surprises Act.
If you are ready to explore therapy, I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. This is a chance to briefly talk about what brings you in, ask questions, and decide whether working together feels like the right fit.
